covid safe plan

Together we can get through anything!

Business Name: Yana Klein
ABN: 24 830 365 676
Plan completed by: Yana Klein
Date reviewed: 20/10/2020

This plan applies to outdoor photography for professional photographers undertaking paid services only. Services must operate solely outdoors with up to five people where physical distancing can be maintained at all times.
The photographer providing the service must be a registered business with ABN.

1. Ensure physical distancing
Both the client and the photographer must remain a minimum of 1.5m from each other at all times.
Only members of that same household (max. 5) can be photographed together.
To minimise the build-up of people, photography locations will be selected based on them being a safe distance away from other members of the public.
All transactions activity will be undertaken online where practical (invoicing / contract signing etc)

2. Wear a face covering
A face mask will be worn by the photographer at all times throughout the photography session.
Unless a lawful exception applies, all people over the age of 12 will wear a face covering and only remove that face covering for the duration of the photograph. This is in accordance with the Stay At Home Directives (Restricted Areas) Subclause 7 (s) that state a face covering can be removed “to the extent that is not reasonably practical to receive the service wearing a face covering”
Cloth masks will be washed each day after use and disposable masks will be discarded. However, if during the day the mask is visibly dirty or wet, the mask will be replaced immediately.

3. Practise good hygiene
Vigilant hand and cough hygiene will be maintained at all times by both the client and the photographer.
Camera equipment will be thoroughly cleaned between sessions.

4. Keep records and act quickly if anybody is unwell
Contact details of all persons being photographed will be collected prior to the session.
The importance of not attending / rescheduling if unwell will be reinforced and is applicable to both the client and the photographer.
In the event that the photographer comes into contact with a person with coronavirus (COVID-19), WorkSafe Victoria will be notified immediately on 13 23 60 and all contact details will be provided.
Any exposure to a person with coronavirus (COVID-19) will result in the closure of this business until it is declared safe to re-open by the relevant authorities.
In the event that the client comes into contact with a person with coronavirus (COVID-19), they shall notify the photographer immediately and will not schedule a photography session until they have received a negative test result.

5. Avoid interactions in enclosed spaces
Indoor photography is not a permitted activity under the current restrictions.

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

I am ready to book. What happens next?

Please submit a booking contact form to let me know your preferred session type and date. You will be prompted to fill in a detailed questionnaire so that I can learn a little bit about you/your family and your expectations for the session. I use that information to further customise your photography experience. You will receive session fee payment information to secure your session date and a contract to be signed electronically on my website. Once the session fee is paid and the contract is signed, your session date and time are scheduled and you will receive a booking confirmation.

Our session is in our home. How should we prepare?

Firstly, don’t stress! I like to document your REAL life as it is. Some clutter may need to be hidden but that’s something we can also do as soon as I arrive for your session. We will shoot in the rooms with the most natural light so concentrate on those parts of your house.

What should we wear for our family or couples session?

First and foremost, make sure you wear something COMFORTABLE. There are various options depending on the type and style of session you’d like but, generally, neutral, casual and simple works well. Rich, bold colours will add a nice pop to your photos. Layers and textures are always a plus. I’d recommend colour coordinating your colours but stay away from matchy matchy. Avoid large logos and distracting large prints. Most importantly, stay true to yourself: if you never ever wear heels, don’t pressure yourself to wear a pair to your session. I want to document YOU! Still not sure what to wear? Check out my Pinterest Board or email me your outfit choices and we will figure it out together.

How long will it be before I can view my photos?

Your digital gallery is delivered to you for viewing within 2 weeks of the session. Shortly thereafter, your download link or custom USB is sent out. Any products included with your package may take a little longer, subject to product delivery times.

Do you offer payment plans?

I do offer custom payment plans where the total fee for your session is divided into several instalments. Once the first instalment is paid we can shoot your session; and, your gallery will be released after all payments are received in full.

It’s Going to be Perfect!
