There is quite a misconception about what boudoir photography is. For the longest time I tried to find another word to describe the kind of work I’d be doing, but nothing seems fitting enough. So I will simply call this sessions “Love Yourself” because no matter how many times you are told that it is selfish, nobody can make you happy until you are happy with yourself first. I love these sessions because for once women get a chance to dress up, or down, and enjoy being themselves and not being ashamed of putting themselves first.

So this look for Emma, to those who know her a little closer, is perfectly descriptive of who she is. It’s even more meaningful because it was taken in her house.
