Yes, I would love to have images of us that capture our true connection.
This newborn photography session is extra special as I’ve photographer her mum’s boudoir session a little while ago, and now I got invited for a newborn photography session documenting every precious moment for the gorgeous family.
Newborn photography sessions don’t have to be overwhelming and uncomfortable. Instead, you can relax and get absorbed in the moment while all the love and all the in betweens are captured through my lens.

Despite somewhat traumatic birth experience, little Alice and her mum appeared relaxed. I guess this is what motherhood does to you – makes you calmer and wiser on somewhat a completely different level… most of the time… and your baby gets the mum’s vibe…
I vaguely remember those few days with my own children – everything in a haze – while you try to process what just happened. The first time around the weight of that immense responsibility felt really heavy through all the happy feelings but as my first baby grew older the all encompassing love just took over. It was a complete bliss with my second baby and that’s when I realised how much more important that birth experience is for the both mum and the baby. I do not have that many photos of myself with my babies in their first weeks and I somewhat regret it. This is probably why these in home newborn photography sessions are some of my favourites…
So when I went to photograph little Alice with her mum and dad, I really wanted to preserve that feeling of calm, happy and complete. I couldn’t believe how easy going she was throughout the session – such an amazing little human – huge kudos to mum and dad for making her feel so at home. Thanks to Julia and Mark for sharing your happiness with the world.
These are just some of my absolute favourites from the session
Newborn Photography Melbourne can capture some of the most treasured family moments with the new little family member.
I can’t stop repeating myself, but I adore my repeating clients. I am grateful for having the opportunity to watch these families grow – this is such a special time in your life and I get to watch this throughout the years and document those very special moments! What an absolute gift!
So you can imagine my excitement when I got a message from Kirsty and Sam about them expecting a baby girl! YAY! Just over a year and a half ago I photographed their first born, and now Taylor is a big brother. Baby Isabelle is surely born into a very loving family!
